The
Vision for Voice of Peace
is to:
Communicate
God’s love through the use of media and any other means
possible.
We
are stepping more
into new areas of Multimedia as we pursue God's word to us about
sharing
His message of love, forgiveness and reconciliation through media.
Therefore, we are:
- producing a weekly radio programme for East
Africa
- sending Nathan's teaching on CDs to
Uganda,
- broadcasting weekly and on the Board of
Directors of
Shine FM,
- producing short films,
- supporting orphans by paying their school fees
and meeting their basic needs.
How It All Started
In
November 1996, we were seeking God
together and He spoke to us and said
"I want you in Media and
Broadcasting. It is to be a ministry of love, forgiveness and
reconciliation."
 God also
spoke to us about starting Shine FM
which we did in December 1999 to usher in the new millennium.
A scripture that God
gave us as a basis for this ministry was: Isaiah 60:1-2
"Arise, shine, for your light has
come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."
Shine FM is now a Community Radio Station
with a
Christian ethos broadcasting 24/7 to Banbridge and the
surrounding areas.
