Radio Ministry in East Africa

In March 2007, Nathan was invited to broadcast on a radio station in Uganda by telephone.  Over 200 people contacted the station to say they'd given their lives to Jesus after hearing Nathan's message. Since then, God has led us to run a weekly program on radio in Uganda. After 4 weeks' broadcast, we were greatly encouraged to hear that over 500 people contacted our programme coordinator to say that they had given their lives to Jesus. Since then hundreds more have come to Christ,  many have been healed and many more discipled.  

Nathan continues to broadcast weekly in Uganda.   We really appreciate the people who have contributed to and supported this ministry, they have made these broadcasts possible. We thank God and pray for you regularly.
 
Please pray that God will continue to use and protect this ministry for His glory and continue to guide us in His will.

Taking the Good News to the City

Nathan has just started broadcasting weekly on Spirit FM radio in Uganda. The signal can be received throughout Kampala city and in places as far as Rakai, Luwero, Nakasongola, Hoima and eastern districts of Mbale.
 
The Uganda Bureau of Statistics estimated the population of Kampala at 1.6 million in 2008. Another 1 million people commute to the city for work everyday. The Bureau projects that the city's population will swell further to 2.1 million by 2017.
 
We hope that these broadcasts will make a big impact for God's kingdom just as the broadcasts on Grace radio touched and transformed thousands of lives. Please pray that this program broadcast in Runyankole will impact many lives in the city and around the nation for the kingdom.

Teachings impact thousands of lives

Nathan's weekly teaching on radio in East Africa continues to impact tens of thousands of lives.
 
Pastors in some churches gather together Christians to listen to Nathan's program instead of the pastor teaching.  It gives the pastor a break and a chance to receive some teaching!
 
For other listeners the radio is their only access to sound biblical teaching.  Questions we receive from listeners vary from "Now that I'm a Christian what Baptism should I get?" to "There is no church in our area, can someone come and start a church for us?"

Transforming Lives Through Radio

Nathan with microphoneNathan continues to broadcast a weekly program on Grace Radio which has lots of listeners in Western Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Congo.
 
After the program, Nathan is often on the phone to listeners wanting to become Christians, needing discipleship, requesting prayer to be free from witchcraft or asking for his teachings on CDs! Here are some of the text messages we receives:

Weekly Radio Program changing lives in East Africa

Nathan continues to do a weekly teaching program on Grace Radio, Uganda which is impacting thousands of lives in East Africa. The listeners say that Nathan's teachings are refreshingly real and applicable to everyday life. Here are some other comments that listeners have texted in to us:
