Hi, welcome to Voice Of Peace!

Nathan & Annmarie AsiimweWe are Nathan and Annmarie Asiimwe, missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM)  Ireland. We work with Voice Of Peace, a media ministry of YWAM Ireland.

In November 1996 God said to us He wanted us in Media and Broadcasting. Since then we have pioneered a community radio station called Shine FM, an internet radio station called Voice Of Peace (to listen just click here) and have led many hundreds to the Lord through radio ministry in Africa.

Now we believe God is calling us to pioneer a media missions training centre with YWAM in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.  As part of this, we are running our first Media Discipleship Training School from March to August 2012.

We are really excited about bringing the aspects of discipleship and media training together in this Media DTS.   Media has the potential to cross boundaries of language, culture and generations and touch people's emotions and hearts in a special way.  Our desire is to see Christians equipped to communicate the love of God using media, a powerful language of today’s generation. If you are interested in coming on the school to be equipped or on staff, we would love to hear from you.

Nathan teaching the Book of Luke
